St. Paul’s School will begin Catholic Schools Week with an Open House on Sunday, January 29th from 10:00 A.M. to 1 P.M. This is the perfect time to come in and meet the teachers, see our school, and learn about any of our grades or programs. All of the classrooms will be open and the teachers will be here for you to have your questions answered. Registration will be held during this week for all new students. Stop in and visit us.
We are collecting the Campbell’s UPC labels, Box Tops for Education labels; Redner’s Save a-tape receipts and used inkjet cartridges. They may be placed on the tables near the church exits. We have just sent in 13,000 Campbell’s labels with your help and bonuses. Thank you.

Respect Life
From stem cell research to assisted suicide, bioethics was a hot topic of debate in 2006. In California, pro-life advocates teamed with disability rights activists, advocates for the poor, and others to defeat a measure that would have legalized assisted suicide in California. Meanwhile, much scientific progress occurred in adult stem cell research, the ethical alternative to anti-life embryonic stem cell research. For example, there’s evidence that a patient’s own olfactory stem cells can restore feeling in people who have been paralyzed. For more insight into bioethical breakthroughs, visit http://www.lifenews.com/bio1906.html.
