From the Pastor…

TV Raffle: And the winner is John Riegger. Congratulations John! We hope you are enjoying your new TV!
Fr. Jim from the Christian Foundation for Children and Adults will speak about “adopting” a child or elderly adult in a third world country on the weekend of February 24^th - 25^th. No collection will be taken.
Ash Wednesday Masses will be at 8:30 am, noon, and 7:00 pm on February 21^st. Begin your Lenten journey by attending Mass.
Lenten Prayer Breakfasts will begin on Saturday March 3^rd at the 8:30 am Mass. Please join us for a Lenten spiritual boost.

Registration is ongoing for new students from Preschool to 8th grade. Stop in our school office.

Basket Bingo Our 8th grade students will be holding a Basket Bingo on Saturday, February 24^th. The cost of the tickets is $15.00. Please make your check payable to St. Paul’s School. Tickets may be purchased in advance by calling school or putting an order in the basket at Church.

Panther Profit Program The next deadline to place an order for any restaurants or stores is February 23^rd

Food/Kohl’s certificates are available in the church vestibule after Masses or during office hours at the rectory. Please support our school.

Memorial Fund for the Deceased

Beautiful memorial folders are available in the Parish Office during office hours. Cost: $25

St. Paul’s Friends For Life will meet this Thursday at 7:00 pm in the Rectory Back room.

Mary’s Guild will meet this Monday evening at 7:00pm in the back room of the rectory. All women of the Parish are invited to join.

ST. PATTY’S DAY OVER 21 DANCE

The dance will be held on Saturday, March 17^th, 2007 in the Parish Center and feature DJ Touch of Rhythm – Marrell Battle. The dance will run from 7:30 to 11:30 pm. Doors open at 7:15 PM. Tickets cost $13.00 or 2 for $25.00 and include beer and soda. Limited seating – only 250 tickets will be sold. Tickets available after all Masses this weekend or at the Parish Office during the week.

“Seeking Peace & Justice: A Change of Heart” Join us for a Day of Reflection at St. Francis Retreat House Easton on Feb 24 from 9-4. Offering $25.00 at the door. Given by Fr. Dan Havron. Becoming instruments of peace in a world filled with war and prejudice is truly the prophetic call of the Gospel. To register, call 610-258-3053.

RESPECT LIFE: The Battle to save Terri Schiavo’s life prompted Pat Anderson, an attorney on the case, to rethink her position on abortion. “Killing babies is not the way out of social problems or personal problems. Killing off your elderly or disabled is not the way to keep your healthcare budget in balance,” by Erika Bachiochi.

Our Bible Study Groups meet in the Rectory Basement Tuesdays at 9:30 AM and Wednesday at 9:30 AM and 6:30 PM.

The Tuesday morning group is studying the Gospel of St. Mark and the Wednesday group is studying the Gospel of Matthew

Respect Life

On Monday, January 22^nd, our Parish will participate in the 34^th Annual March for Life in Washington, DC, Some will stay at home and pray more extensively. Others will fast. Others will participate by making sacrifices according to their means. All come for the protection of the unborn. Prayer cards for the unborn will be available in all the exits of the Church, on Sunday January 21^st. The theme for this year’s March for Life is: “Thou Shalt Protect the Equal Right to Life of Each Innocent Human in Existence @ Fertilization. No Exceptions! No Compromise!” Saint Paul’s Friends for “Life”.
